Jason ParkerIntroducing Jason Parker, of the Jason Parker Quartet!  “Modern and Traditional Jazz” may seem like an oxymoron… until you hear the sounds of this fab foursome.  Wow… absolutely beautiful.  Your ears will never be the same.  Here’s a clip of this feast for you ears.

What is your favorite thing about weddings?
That they’re all about the love. There aren’t too many times in one’s life where you get to bring all of your family and friends together to celebrate the goodness and wonder of love. And we get to be there for it. Oh, and the free cake. 😉

What is your best tip for time management?
Be early. Always be early.

What is your little marketing secret?
To remember the little things like thank-you cards, personal touches in correspondence, names, stories, etc. Personal connections are by far my biggest strength and get me many referrals.

What is the funnest trend you are seeing in the industry?
Non-traditional weddings. I always love the weddings where the bride and groom really put their personalities into it. I played a baseball themed wedding last year that was a blast. A bat was the guestbook, tables were named after famous ballparks with sno-globes of the parks on them. And we played “Take Me Out To The Ballgame” for the first dance!

If you were starting your business all over again, what would you have done differently?
I would have started my own wedding website.

Thanks Jason!
