INTRODUCING A NEW SAGE WEDDING PRO!

I am SOOOOO excited to introduce my new partner at Sage Wedding Pros: Kelly Simants!

Kelly Simants is the owner of Sweet Pea Events, a wedding and event planning business with offices in Seattle and Dallas.  Before launching her business, Kelly worked for Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) and Starbucks in Human Resources.  She was part of the senior leadership team and managed all aspects of HR including recruiting, training, professional development, employee relations, etc. Kelly is excited to bring her background and passion for training and development, as well as her 8 years experience in the wedding industry, into the workshops provided by Sage Wedding Pros.

Last year, Kelly and I worked on Get Hitched Give Hope together.  We found that we have great synergy and vowed to some day join forces on another venture.  Since writing Sage Wedding Pros, I’ve been encouraged by many to keep the information coming.  And, I’ve been asked for further training on all that is the business of weddings.  Kelly will be a perfect partner to help bring some workshops to our readership in the months and years to come.  So, get ready!
